Later in the same game he made the switch-hand layup, but this one was also nice, reminding me of a clutch layup he made last season against the Rockets.

Aldridge had some nice passes in the recent 2 games: 12/19 v.s. Toronto & 12/21 v.s. Nuggets. He used to pass out of doubleteam to the nearest teammate but now he can find an open teammate to pass quickly. Our ball movement is great in this 10 winning streak.

New weapon in his arsenal!!
finally we have the first Blazers game in 6 months!! I was at that game and used my digital camera to capture a few of Aldridge's nice plays on the big screen. Here is the very first play in the game, he tried to shoot a 3 and made it!! Too bad his toe was on the line so it was a 2. But still it confirms the reports that he has been practicing the 3 point shot during the camp.

uncanny passing ability and excellent court vision for his size! I am so looking forward to see Josh McRoberts playing next season!!!

(from Youtube, made by Blazers video crew)
One of the greatest moment in the franchise history... I've watched this almost 100 times.

just before the tip off the whole team including some injured ones huddled together, Roy was telling other guys to have fun and Webster doing a little funny dancing in the middle. They were probably thinking it was the last time to huddle together this season and trying to have some fun over there. It's also fun for us to watch.
not a very outstanding game for him but you know, it's the last game this season and we are probably 6 months away to seeing him play again. So why not make a clip for this kid one last time this season? Here you go.
I was at that game. If only I had known this special introduction I would have tried to sneak into the lower bowl seats just to have high 5s with players.....
Too bad I try to save some disk space so didn't record the first few minutes so some players are not in the clip.

Outlaw made 16 consecutive free throw attempts at one point and finished 18 of 20, equaling the franchise record (by Geoff Petrie and Kiki Vandeweghe) with 18 makes in a game. Here is the clip of all 18 free throws.

This game belonged to Travis Outlaw. He really has became a scoring machine recently. What I particularly like is his aggressiveness to drive into the lane. In the early part of the season I was impressed by his much improved jump shots. But then when he settled with more and more outside jumpers I became somewhat disappointed on his inability or unwillingness to drive to the basket. (Guess I was a little greedy) In the last few games of the season I finally saw what I'd like to see from Outlaw's game - a swingman who can score in a variety of ways: fastbreaks, perimeter shootings and also scoring or drawing fouls off the dribbles. I do think he still has not reached his ceiling yet. Hope our beloved new GM Pritchard can do whatever he can to bring him back next season.

We've seen this so many times this season - Sergio's no-look pass to Freddie and then a thunderous dunk to finish.

Magloire was so busy covering his eyes that he missed the easy dunk. Hope he can stop this stupid habit.
Travis Outlaw's nice dunk in the game against Memphis Grizzlies
43 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists, 16-26 shooting and even 2 blocks.
This is one of Zach's best games in that he not only has 43 and 17, but also has 5 assists and so many great passes that would have been assists. It showed that Zach knew when to score and when (and how) to get teammates involved. That's a sign of a truly dominant post player. It he can keep this up he will be in the same level as KG and Nowitzki. But somehow this might have been his last game in Blazer uniform... anyway we will see how things go in the offseason.

Our clutch machine - Brandon Roy did it once again: took over when the game is on the line, led Portland Trail Blazers cruises to victory.
Webster had a big time 3 point play in crunch time against Wizards
LaMarcus Aldridge: 39 minutes,
25 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks
Portland Trail Blazers won this game at home.

All Blazers stick up to each other and fight! Jarrett Jack and LaMarcus Aldridge didn't let Kobe and Odom and thousands of vicious LA fans intimidate them. It's nowhere close to a real scuffle but it's very nice to see such fire in their eyes. Probably one of the few time I truly feel proud of these young guys.
Too bad I didn't have the feed from Portland broacaster. This is from LA's feed. If anybody has taped that game from Portland's feed please let me know.
Roy had some clutch plays in that game.
Roy to Jack, Jack to ZBo who finished with a two hand jam! How often do you see Zach dunks? This is one of them.

Nice shooting output from our hometown man Ime Udoka!

LaMarcus Aldridge's some good defensive plays.
Aldridge had a double-double in this game. 14 points(7-15) 10 boards (7 offensive) and did a decnet job guarding Chris Webber and Rasheed Wallace. Portland Trail Blazers vs Detroit Pistons

Another hometown boy Freddie Jones showed off his atheleticism.

Watch the no look pass to Freddie for a fast break dunk. Sergio's no look pass is really entertaining.

This is Blazers' best offensive game of the season. In the 4th quarter Sergio had back-to-back alleyoops to Webster and Freddie. The crowd went totally nuts!
Still remember this game? Biggest win for Blazers so far this season and probably one of the most entertaining one, which worth 4 seperate clips for 4 quarter's highlights!
Sergio + Freddie
including a no look pass from Sergio to Freddie.
Webster jumped high and made the nice dunk.
Sergio is a assist machine and the fast break expert. In this game he had some exciting dishes.
After 2/26 blowout loss to Sonics, Zbo called a player meeting and they really came back in the 3/01 game in which Portland Trail Blazers have the best offensive game of the season. Aldridge had a career high 30 points in only 26 munites. FG:12-19, FT:6-6, 6 boards 2 assists 2 blocks. He had some nice dunks and showed off all his offensive skills. It was a crazy game.

Make sure you watch the whole video. By the end of it you can see a freaking weird smile on Zach's face. Before that game, he gauranteed there would be a win. He struggled in the 1st half but dominated in the 2nd half and in the OT. He had 42pts/12 rebs and 42pts was his career high until the 3/29 game (aginst Grizzlies again) where he scored 43pts.

When Blazers was 2 points behind the Timberwolves, Aldridge made 2 free throws with 2 seconds remaining to tie the game. After that Ricky Davis talked trash to him and he fired back "BIATCH!!!". He proved himself a winner. In the OT Blazers won the game at home.

Sergio's career game with 23pts(11-14), 4 boards 10 assists 3 steals in 30 minutes. The 2 quarters of that game are two of the most entertaining ones in recent years. He changed the tempo of the game and brought excitement to the crowd.
